Qingming Luo/骆清铭  
Dr. Luo is the President of Hainan University, President-Elect of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering (CSBME), and Chair of the MoE Steering Committee for Biomedical Engineering Teaching in Colleges and Universities. His research interests focus on multi-scale optical bioimaging and cross-level information integration. He is an elected Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences(CAMS), an elected Fellow of The International Academy of Medical and Biological Engineering (IAMBE), American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE), Optica (formerly OSA), Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET),International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE) and Chinese Optical Society (COS). 





Zhongze Gu/顾忠泽
Dr. Gu is a professor from Southeast University, Cheung Kong Scholars, Fellow of the American Academy of Medical and Biological Engineering, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He is currently the Dean of the School of Biological Science and Medical Engineering of Southeast University, the director of the State Key Laboratory of Digital Medical Engineering, and the chairman of the Organoid-on-a-Chip Branch of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering. He has been engaged in research on human organ chip for a long time, and has published more than 400 papers in international core journals. He won more than 100 national invention patents, 13 of them achieved conversion.



Yun Liu/刘云
Dr. Liu is a Level-2 professor, doctoral supervisor, Level-2 Doctor-in-charge, president of Jiangsu Province Hospital (the First Affiliated Hospital with Nanjing Medical University), vice president of Nanjing Medical University, director of Institute of Medical Informatics and Management of Nanjing MedicalUniversity, member of the National Committee of the CPPCC, deputy director of Jiangsu Committee of Chinese Peasants And Workers Democratic Party, State Council Special Allowance Expert, chief scientist of National Key R&D Program of China, Vice Chairperson of the Standards Committee of Chinese Medical Information and Big Data Association. She has received multiplehonors in academic area, including the second prize of Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Award, lead 20 national and provincial projects, published nearly 100 SCI papers, edited and translated 4 books, and holds 6 national invention patents.




Kam W. Leong
Kam W. Leong is the Samuel Y. Sheng Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University, where he focuses on three major research directions: 1) Nonviral gene editing in vivo; 2)Biomaterials-assisted modulation of inflammation; 3) Human tissue chips for disease modeling and drug screening. He has published ~500 manuscripts with citations of ~67,000, and holds more than 60 issued patents. He is the recipient of the IEEE-EMBS Academic Career Achievement Award, Founder’s Award of the Society for Biomaterials, Editor-in-Chief of Biomaterials, and a member of the National Academy of Inventors, the National Academy of Engineering, and the National Academy of Medicine.
